Book

I’m happy to say I am once again taking new clients/new appointments. If you’re a past client who hasn’t booked in while or a new client who has been wanting to book for awhile, be sure to read this page before clicking on the “BOOK” button at the bottom of the screen.

Thank you for choosing M.O. Body and Birth for your bodywork and selfcare needs.

If you do not see a day and time that works for you on my calendar feel free to reach out and we can see if there is something I can do to accommodate (no guarantees but it’s always worth checking"). All appointments require a credit card to book and will be charged 3 days prior to your appointment. When you go to book, you are actually requesting the appointment and I approve the time or may ask you to adjust the time slightly. All pricing includes gratuity. If you would like to tip an additional gratuity you may do so with cash or Venmo but it is never expected.

Please read the following FAQs before booking your appointment.

Q. What if I need to reschedule and I’ve already paid?

A. You are more than welcome to reschedule; your session is paid for so it is yours. But keep in mind my schedule fills up 4-6 weeks in advance so I don’t guarantee your preferred day and time will be available. But I will do my best to get you in. I know life happens.

Q. Are there refunds?

A. I do not offer refunds for sessions that are paid for.

Q. What if I need to cancel but I’ve already paid?

A. You may cancel but your session will not be refunded. I suggest rescheduling, or just hanging on to your appointment until you are able to reschedule. Paid for sessions are good for up to 1 year from purchase date.

No Show Policy:

Since every session requires a credit card to book, you will be charged the full amount for your appointment. You will not be able to rebook your appointment and you will be added to the no-show list.

Rescheduling under 48 hours:

Due to limited availability, reschedules under 48 hours will be treated as a cancellation (no refund, no reschedule).

Q. Why so strict Melissa?

A. In order to keep my practice sustainable, I have these policies in place to protect my income and time. I try to be understanding when there are extenuating circumstances and emergencies, but will generally refer to my policies when dealing with cancellations, reschedules, and no shows. Thank you for understanding and for your cooperation with my small business.
