In addition to Massage Therapy and Birth Doula services I also offer Bengkung Belly Binding, postpartum assistance, and birth plan consultations. These can be booked a la carte or bundled with other services for a discount.

Bengkung belly binding

The benefits of this ancient Malaysian practice are numerous but some of the more noteworthy include: pulling in of the bones and muscles that stretch during pregnancy, helps decrease postpartum bleeding, and prevents back pain and encourages good posture.

Belly Binding is typically most effective during the first 8 weeks postpartum. Usually binding begins 2 days after birth unless a cesarean took place in which case we will wait until the incision is healed.

Postpartum assistance

Bringing a new baby into the home can be overwhelming and exhausting. Having extra help during those first several weeks can be a lifesaver. I offer basic postpartum assistance by way of: cleaning, laundry, meal prep, errands, walking dogs, and my favorite, watching your new little baby while you rest, shower, get out of the house, or do whatever you need to! I don't offer overnights but I can refer you to some amazing postpartum doulas that do. Just ask.

birth plan assistance

A wonderful choice for those who may prefer to birth privately with their partner but may feel they would like some help preparing beforehand. I can answer your questions regarding hospital procedures and protocols and help you come up with a birth plan you are comfortable with. This typically will last about 2 hours.
